From Mill to Museum

From Mill to Museum is a history of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, set against the backdrop of the former industrial spaces that comprise the institution’s sprawling 24-acre campus. The book is a complete reimagining of a 1999 volume of the same title, with a new design, and over a hundred pages of new content—including stunning photographs by Nicholas Whitman of the museum’s recently unveiled Building 6, and contributions by architect Simeon Bruner and museum director Joseph Thompson. Slated for release in mid-2018.
